Pune, Apr 9 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Kutch, and north coastal Karnataka. They were above normal in Manipur, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh and in some parts of coastal Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in interior Orissa, Marathwada, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. They were below normal in Kashmir, Vidarbha and in some parts of Haryana, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershwers have occurred at many places in Kerala and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
