Four-year-old girl dies of gastroenteritis

Raichur, Apr 9 (UNI) A four-year-old girl died and as many as 30 others were hospitalised due to the outbreak of gastroenteritis at Gogal village in Deodurga taluk in Raichur district today.

Official sources said consumption of contaminated water by the villagers had caused the outbreak of the epidemic.

The victim was identified as Sumitra Others were being treated at Hirebudar and Koppara Primary Health Centres in the district.
