Canvassing for ND Bar Association elections reaches last leg

New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) Canvassing for the New Delhi Bar Association's elections to be held on April 11 reached its final leg today.

Candidates distributed their visiting cards among bar association members. Voting will take place between 1000 hrs and 1700 hrs.

There are various posts in the Executive Committee such as President, Vice-President, Secretary, Additional Secretary, Member Lirary, member executive and others.

The candidates contesting the post of president are -- Karam Singh, S P S Kaushal, Santosh Mishra and M L Sharma, while the post of Vice-President will see Ram Singh Baliyal, Rajpal Kasana and Jitender Bhardwaj battling it out among themselves.

For the post of Secretary, Ashwani Sharma and Akshay Kumar Sharma will compete, while Shailendra Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Bijendra Sharma are in the race for Additional Secretary.

For the post of Member Library, the competition is between Raj Kumar Rajput, Renu and Shubhra Parashar.
