Woman commits suicide after killing children

Barabanki, Apr 8: Driven by abject poverty and prolonged illness, a woman committed suicide after killing her two children in Deva area of the district.

The incident was reported from Chandauli village late last night, where Sunita ended her life after poisoning to death her two children, aged four and six years.

Sunita, married to Sahajram for over 15 years, had not been keeping well since long. The family was in complete destitute and did not have enough money for treatment.

Bodies had been sent for autopsies.
