Pune, Apr 8 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttarkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Saurashtra, Kutch, and coastal Karnataka. They were above normal in some parts of coastal Orissa and Gujarat. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Marathwada, Chattisgarh, Telangana and in some parts of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Marathwada, Vidarbha and interior Karnataka. They were below normal in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in north interior Karnataka, Kerala and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Chattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
