House adjourned for 15 minutes after heated verbal exchange

Mumbai, Apr 8 (UNI) Maharashtra Legislative Council was adjourned for 15 minutes today, as heated verbal exchange prevailed in the house, following a comment made by Ram Padangale (NCP) referring to Nitin Gadkari (BJP).

While Mr Gadkari was speaking about the grounds in the city, Mr Padangale got up and made some comment referring to Mr Gadkari.

Provoked by the comment, Mr Gadkari started a scathing verbal attack on him. Finally deputy speaker Vasant Davkhare adjourned the house for 15 minutes.

Later, Mr Davkhare asked the legislators from both the sides to restrain themselves from making any comment, which will hurt and expunged the remarks.
