Jodie Foster wants her kids to become filmmakers

Washington, Apr 7 : Jodie Foster has revealed that she wants her kids to enter showbiz as directors.

The 45-year-old actress has insisted that she would never keep her two sons, Charles, 9, and Kit, 6, away from movies, but would like it if they worked as film-makers instead of actors.

In fact, she is already teaching them how to deal with Hollywood and its ways.

"If they begged and begged and begged (to act), I would understand. I try to get them interested in the technical side of filmmaking. I say, 'I wonder how they did that. Do you think they did it with a blue screen?'" Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

She added: "I try to get them interested in lenses or just de-mystifying it (filmmaking) a little bit for them. It's a beautiful business. I want them to love films, but I want them to be on the side of it that I think, in some ways, can be the most rewarding."
