Colin Farrell expresses grief over Bosnian tragedy
Washington, April 7 : Hollywood star Colin Farrell has expressed grief over the Bosnian War that claimed thousands of lives, after spending the weekend in Srebrenica.
The actor spent two days in the town researching his new role of a photojournalist, which he plays in the film 'Triage'.
Since Farrell's character in the film covers the bloody war from 1992 to 1995, he wanted to gain some knowledge about the conflict.
He even visited the town's cemetery for the purpose, but was sickened when he imagined how brutal the experience of the war would have been for the victims.
Upon his return, the actor said that the land and air in the region was poisoned by the shocking massacre, reports Contactmusic.
He said that he could feel the pain of the tragedy, and was sad over the loss of lives.
