New Hindi-Punjabi TV channel on air from Baisakhi day
New Delhi, Apr 5 (UNI) A new bilingual entertainment and news TV channel will go on air from April 13.
Called CNEB, the 24-hour channel will have six news bulletin in Hindi and two in Punjabi, Chairman of the company Amandeep Singh Sra said here.
Initially its telecasts would cover the northern region--Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, the channel plans to extend its coverage to other regions.
The channel will be uplinked to INSAT 4 A and will be distributed through DTH platform.
This is the second channel after INX to be launched in a month.
