South Africa gives nod for extradition of Geong gangmen
Kaithal, Apr 3 (UNI) The South African court and ministry has given green signal for the extradition of three members of the ''most wanted'' Surender Geong gang in the murder of a Kaithal plywood dealer here.
Navdeep Singh Virk, SSP Sonepat, who as SSP, Kaithal had pursued the case confirmed the South African nod for the extradition of the three extortionists Baljeet Badsikri, Joginder Geong and Surinder Pehalwan wanted by Haryana police for their involvement in murder of the local business man and many other serious crimes.
Narinder Arora had been murdered in March 2006 out side his shop for not meeting the demand of gang of extortionists to pay Rs 50 lakh.
Mr Virk said that Police had arrested 32 persons on the charge of their involvement in the murder of Arora or joining the murder conspiracy and recovered 9 mobile phones 9 sim cards , three motorcycles, one Tavera , pistols and live cartridges from gang members .
A sharpshooter of this gang Rajesh Buddanpur had been killed in police encounter in Jind district on June 7, 2006, he added.
