Reliance Energy buys-back 2 lakh shares

Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group promoted Reliance Energy Ltd today said the company has bought-back additional 2 lakh equity shares from its shareholders.

Since the commencement of the buy-back on March 25, 2008, the Company has so far bought back 13.8 lakh equity shares, aggregating Rs 174.56 crore, the company today informed the stock exchanges.

The board of directors of the company had approved buy-back of equity shares up to an aggregate amount of Rs 800 crore, it added.
