Oppn to table no confidence motion against deputy speaker
Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) Leader of the opposition Ramdas Kadam today described Deputy Speaker Pramod Shende as biased and announced that the opposition Sena BJP alliance would bring a no confidence motion against him.
''Deputy speaker Pramod Shende is not accepting the demand for poll, while passing the budgetary demands, which is undemocratic and he governs in his own style,'' Mr Kadam said, while speaking to mediapersons, here.
''Opposition were not given a single chance for the polls, since this session started,'' Mr Kadam alleged.
''The present style of functioning is worse than assembly of Bihar,'' Mr Kadam remarked.
''Opposition will shortly meet the governor, lodge their protest and request him to take proper steps,'' he added.
