EC's 15 alternatives of Photo Identity Cards

Lucknow, Apr 3 (UNI) The Election Commission (EC) has given 15 alternatives of the Photo Identity Cards for the Azamgarh, Khalilabad Lok Sabha and Karnailganj, Bilgram and Moradnagar assembly bypoll scheduled on April 11.

State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anuj Kumar Vishnoi said the alternatives comprise passport, driving license, PAN card, government/undertaking employees photo identity card, Kisan pass book, Bank/post office photo ID cards, registration papers and SC/ST certificate.

He said the voters can also exercise their franchise by showing job cards issued under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), photo based weapons license, freedom fighter ID cards, photo based rashion cards and former soldier/widow/old age pension certificate.
