AEGON Religare Life Insurance gets initial IRDA nod

Chennai, Apr 3 (UNI) AEGON Religare Life Insurance Company Limited, a joint venture between AEGON, one of the largest life insurance and pension companies and Religare, one of India's leading integrated financial services institutions, has received the initial R1 licence from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) to operate in the Life Insurance space.

The R1 license from the IRDA was the first of the three steps in the registration process, according to a release here today.
