6 of family killed in road accident

Ferozabad, Apr 3 (UNI) At least six members of a family were killed and 22 other passengers injured in a jeep-truck collision here this morning.

The accident occurred near district hospital, when the jeep, en route from Agra to Mainpuri, dashed against the truck laden with sand, police said.

Jeep passengers Ram Charan, Ramu, Ram Chandra, Veerelal, Ram Avtar and Shiv Charan died on the spot in the accident.

Twenty two other truck passengers sustained injuries and had been admitted to hospital.
