One student killed and ten injured as DPS bus overturns in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Apr 2 : A 13-year old girl student was reportedly killed and over ten children were injured this morning after a Delhi Public School (DPS) bus overturned in Shilaj village about 10 km from here.

The bus, carrying about 20 children to the School in the Bopal area on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, turned turtle colliding with a truck it was trying to overtake.

The condition of three of the students is said to be serious.

Ahmedabad Superintendent of Police, SS Trivedi said all the injured have been admitted to the Shah Alloys Limited (SAL) Hospital and the Sola Civil Hospital.

The area has been cordoned off by the police.
