Six-year-old boy dies after falling in drain
New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) A six-year-old boy today died after he fell into a drain at Nangloi in West district of Delhi, police said.
Police and fire services personnel spent several hours to rescue the boy, identified as Deepak, resident of Kanwar Singh Nagar, Nangloi, from the drain.
However, all efforts to pull the boy out alive failed.
His body was recovered and taken to Sanjay Gandhi hospital for post-mortem.
Hundreds of people had gathered near the scene to help the rescuers in their bid to save the boy.
Deepak was playing with friends when he fell in the drain.
