Milk coolers installed in Jammu

Srinagar, Apr 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Milk Producers Co-operative Limited (JKMPCL) has decided to install milk coolers in Jammu division to resolve the issue of souring of milk in summers.

Meanwhile, the JKMPCL distributed bonus among the milk producers of the state affiliated to it.

Official sources said the management of the Co-operative would soon install bulk milk coolers at some places in Jammu division to resolve the issue of souring of milk in summer, when the temperature touches more than 40 degree.

Dr Mohammad-ud-Din Chairman Board of Directors, JKMPCL, distributed bonus cheques among the cooperatives at different functions held in the state.

The Milk Producers Co-operative was farmed in 2004 to make the state self reliant in dairy sector.
