Bihar lawyers to continue indefinite strike
Patna, Apr 2 (UNI) Judicial services in Bihar remained paralysed as the lawyers of Patna High court today decided to continue their indefinite strike until their demands were met.
A meeting of all the three Bar associations in the High Court premises decided to continue their strike till the state government revoked its decision of hiking the court fees.
The future course of action would be decided at a meeting of the representatives of 122 Bar councils in the state on April 7.
Meanwhile, Bihar Yuva Adhiwakta Kalyan Samiti members blocked the Belly road at Ambedkar chowk near the High Court disrupting movement of vehicles on the road.
Earlier, the civil court lawyers went on indefinite strike in protest against the hike in the court fees introduced by the state government on March 14.
