Seven Al-Umma extremists, two others shifted to Trichy central jail

Madurai, Mar 31 (UNI) Nine prisoners, including seven hardcore Al-Umma extremists, who were lodged at the Madurai Central Prison, were shifted to Tiruchirapalli Central Prison today for security reasons.

Police sources said the prisoners were lodged in Madurai Central Prison for various offences.

Amid tight security, the nine prisoners, including Sulaiman, Nainar Mohammed, Abdul Muthalif, Nizamuddin, Abdul Khader, Syed Ali and Akbar Saleem, all Al-Umma extremists, were shifted to the Tiruchirapalli Central Prison.
