Sarah Jessica Parker's son is an ardent Obama supporter

Washington, Mar 31 : With each presidential candidate working hard on his or her own campaign, democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has won over a very loyal supporter - Sarah Jessica Parker's son, James Wilkie Broderick.

Parker said that James' support for Obama was something that developed on its own.

"He's very into Barack Obama. On his own!" People quoted Parker, as saying.

"He's really, truly into this election. He's come to this conclusion on his own based specifically on Barack's gender. It's that deep. He's a fan and a true supporter of Barack Obama," she added.

Besides rooting for presidential candidates, the Sex and the City star said that her son also loves building things and spending time with his mommy and daddy.

"Right now he's pretty taken with both myself and my husband. So we'll play blocks with him and he's really into Legos right now and he's really into Star Wars," she said.

Parker and husband Matthew Broderick welcomed James on October 28, 2002.
