Gwalior, Mar 31 (UNI) VHP General Secretary Praveen Togadia today described 'jehadi' terrorism as dangerous for the country and said police should be granted army rights to tackle the menace.

Talking to reporters here today, Mr Togadia expressed concern over activities of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) continuing. He alleged that SIMI activists were receiving local support.

He suggested the Centre grant army rights to police so that it could arrest 'jehadi' terrorists from them their house.
