NCP to hold Working Committee meet on April 10 in Delhi
New Delhi, March 31 (UNI)Ahead of Lok Sabha elections and assembly polls in eight states, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is holding a meeting of its extended working committee on April 10 here to thrash out the issues , possible political alignments and electoral strategy.
Party President Sharad Pawar who will preside over the meeting, has already raised a political controversy by asking the Congress to project Dr Manmohan Singh as UPA's Prime Ministerial candidate in the next general election.
Reacting to Mr Pawar's suggestion, the Congress said name of the Party's candidate for the top executive office, had always been decided only after the elections were over.
