Palwal to be new district of Haryana: Hooda

Palwal, Faridabad, Mar 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced that Palwal would be a new district of the state and a committee would be constituted to identify the areas for inclusion in the new district.

The Chief Minister was addressing a largely attended "Vikas Rally" here.

While accepting this demand raised by the local MLA and Chairman of the Haryana Administrative Reforms Commission, Karan Singh Dalal and supported by the MP Avtar Singh Bhadana, Parliamentary Secretary Sharda Rathore and MLA Udai Bhan and enthusiastic crowd, the Chief Minister remarked that this demand should have been raised earlier as Palwal deserved to be upgraded as a district because of its glorious past.
