Patel Energy targets capacity addition of 15,000 MW by next 10 y
New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) Patel Energy Ltd, a subsidiary of Mumbai-based infrastructure construction firm Patel Engineering Ltd, today said it targets capacity addition of 15,000 MW of electricity by the next ten years in a phased manner.
''We aim to produce 15,000 MW of electricity by the next ten years,'' Patel Energy CEO S C Sharma told reporters on the sidelines of a 'Hydro Vision 2008' function here.
The power will be produced through both hydro and thermal ways, he said.
''The projects will be funded through internal accruals initially,'' Mr Sharma added.
