Jamie-Lynn Spears registers for baby gifts

Washington, Mar 29 : As motherhood is getting nearer, Britney Spears' little sister Jamie-Lynn Spears is performing her pre-delivery duties - by registering for gifts at Babies R Us.

The allegedly engaged Nickelodeon star, who turns 17 on April 4, drove 80 miles to Baton Rouge from her Kentwood home to register gifts for her baby.

The teen star was reportedly accompanied by her cousin, and, "somebody called ahead to say they were coming in," People quoted a source, as saying.

Showing off her engagement ring, Spears was spotted donning a shirt that read "The Rumors Are True" as she and her cousin both registered for gifts at the store, according to sources.

The sources also revealed that Casey Aldridge, 18, the baby's father, is listed as her "co-registrant" and the "event date" listed is July 10.

In fact, the young-mum also added the message: "Thank you for supporting us during this special time."

The Zoey 101 star chose from a wide variety of stuff, ranging from a 1.49 dollars teething ring to a 300 dollars car seat. She also requested for an ultrasound frame, a Cookie Monster bath towel and a Baby Neptune Ocean Gym.
