India doing a lot for Tibetans: Dalai Lama
New Delhi, Mar 29: The Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, today lauded India for ''doing a lot'' for the Tibetans and said that its ''limitations'' vis-a-vis the Tibet problem were ''understandable''.
''India is doing a lot for the Tibetans and to the refugees as well. I appreciate them for this gesture,'' he told a news conference here. He said the Government of India had taken special measures regarding the education of the Tibetan refugees. ''Being a little overcautious doesn't matter,'' the leader of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile said.
