Driver arrested for black marketing of government rice in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 29 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested a driver who was selling government rice in the black market in south Kashmir.

Police at Pulwama received an information that a truck driver was selling rice in the black market at Drang Nad Shajimarg.

A Police immediately rushed to the area and the driver Muhammad Ashraf Baba, carrying departmental rice under SGRY scheme for block Keller, was caught red handed when he was unloading the rice.

A case has been registered and investigation is on, official sources said.
