Charlotte Church launches 4m pounds children's hospital campaign

London, Mar 29 : Welsh singer Charlotte Church has launched a campaign to raise 4million pounds to provide vital equipment and facilities at the Children's Hospital for Wales.

Church, who has been a patron of the Noah's Ark fund at the hospital for eight years, revealed that becoming a mother has made her realise how lucky she is and also understand what others, who do not have the same privilege, go through.

"It's crazy - I just feel much, much more strongly about this appeal. It means so much more when you are a mother," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

"I think once you have a child you become a mother to all. It makes you realise how precious babies are.

"I feel blessed and so lucky," she added.

Church also said that though she is enjoying being a mother, she is not in any hurry to tie the knot with her rugby hunk boyfriend Gavin Henson.

"No wedding plans, man - still no," she stated.
