Apollo to provide medical facilities at IGI airport
New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) The Indraprastha Apollo hospital will provide medical facilities to passengers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), which runs the IGI airport, has awarded the license to Indraprastha Apollo to operate and manage medical facilities at all passenger and cargo terminals of IGI airport.
Besides a four-bedded medical centre each at domestic and international terminals with basic first-aid and stabilising facilities, the hospital will also run a casualty evacuation centre at domestic arrival with three advanced life saving ambulances for mobility on airside and cityside. A doctor with two assistants will be present round-the-clock at the airport, the DIAL said here.
