Rajan Krishnan to head Pioneer Investments-BoB JV

Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) Pioneer Investments today said Rajan Krishnan will be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of their joint venture with Bank of Baroda.

The agreement for the joint venture was signed in October last year under which Pioneer Investments will have 51 per cent stake in the existing Bank of Baroda local asset management company.

Commenting on the appointment, Pioneer Investments CEO Asia and Emerging Markets Division Angus Stening said, ''In addition to financial acumen, Rajan brings to the Company expertise in establishing and growing broad-based distribution networks, which I believe would provide an impetus to our aggressive distribution plans.'' ''We have ambitious growth targets in one of the world's fastest growing mutual fund markets and I am confident that with Rajan's drive and leadership, we will build a successful business and become a major player,'' he added.
