Rains likely in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Northeast
Pune, Mar 28 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at isolated plces in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Mainly dry weather will prevail in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and in some parts of Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch. They were above normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch.
Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in Arunachal Pradesh and in some parts of south Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka. They were below normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Marathwada and in remaining parts of interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Jharkhand and south interior Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Rajasthan and in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch. They were above normal in some parts of Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.
