Chinese media using deceit to fan racial tension: Dalai Lama
New Delhi, Mar 28 (UNI) The Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, today accused Chinese media of using ''deceit and distortion'' in coverage of protests in Tibet.
''That could fan racial tension between Tibetans and Han Chinese and this is of grave concern to me,'' he said.
''The state media's portrayal of the recent events in Tibet, using deceit and distorted images, could sow the seeds of racial tension with unpredictable long-term consequences,'' the leader of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile said.
