Body recovered from Tata Motors' factory premises
Singur, Mar 28 (UNI) Police today recovered a youth's body from inside the fencing of Tata Motors' Singur project in Hooghly district.
The 24-year-old was a dumper driver and hailed from Bardhaman district. Police said there were injury marks on the head. They sent the body for post mortem.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Chandannagore Kalyan Mukherjee said police was investigating whether it was a case of murder or accident.
This is the second incident of a body being recovered from the project site. Earlier, Tapasi Malik's body was recovered from inside the fenced off area in December 2006 which caused a flutter in the state and led to a CBI inquiry.
