Advani to hold meeting with NDA CMs on Mar 29

New Delhi, Mar 28: Leader of the Opposition and BJP Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani will preside over an NDA meeting tomorrow to take stock of the political situation prevailing in the NDA-ruled states.

Chief Ministers of nine NDA-ruled states -- Mr Narendra Modi (Gujarat), Ms Vasundhara Raje (Rajasthan), Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), Dr Raman Singh (Chhattisgarh), Mr Prem Kumar Dhumal (Himachal Pradesh), Maj Gen (Retd) B.C. Khandoori (Uttrakhand), Mr Parakash Singh Badal (Punjab), Mr Navin Patnaik (Orissa) and Mr Nitish Kumar (Bihar) are expected to participate in the meeting. Besides Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi will also be attending the meeting, sources said.

The leaders may also discuss a common strategy to expose the UPA government's failure to check spiralling price rise, and its anti-people policies. The deliberations might include some action plan to take on the Congress and its allies in the coming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the sources added.
