VPT unloads record 18,308 tonne industrial grade salt in a day

Visakhapatnam, Mar 27 (UNI) The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) has achieved an all time record by unloading 18,308 tonne of industrial grade salt in a day.

According to a VPT release here today, the industrial grade salt was unlaoded from the vessel M V Woqoof e mujdlepa.

Earlier, the port had unlaoded 15,560 tonne of industrial grade salt on February 18,2008 from vessel M V Lord Byron, the release added.
