Separation of judiciary soon in Mizoram

Aizawl, Mar 27 (UNI) Mizoram Law Minister H Rammawi today said the much-awaited separation of judiciary would be soon implemented in the state.

With the approval of Gauhati High Court, civil courts had been constituted, while proposal had been submitted for constitution of criminal courts, Mr Rammawia told the House in response to Congress member H Liansailova's question.

Once the High Court okayed the proposal for criminal courts, the separation of judiciary would come into effect, the Minister added.
