Raghu Menon appointed CMD of National Aviation Company

New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of Mr Raghu Menon as the Chairman and Managing Director of the National Aviation Company of India Limited, Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Mr Menon, an IAS of 1974 batch of Nagaland cadre is presently working as the Special Secretary and Financial Adviser of the Civil Aviation Ministry.

Ms Sushma Nath has been working as the Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. Ms Nath, an IAS of Madhya Pradesh cadre of 1974 batch is presently Secretary of the Sixth Central Pay Commission.

Mr Vivek Mehrotra has been appointed as the Secretary Department of Disinvestment, Ministry of Finance. Mr Mehrotra, who is an IAS of 1974 batch of the Hyderabad cadre is presently working as the Special Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Home Ministry Ministry.

Mr K.M. Acharya has been appointed as the Secretary, in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Mr Acharya, an IAS of Madhya Pradesh cadre of 1974 batch is presently working as the Special Secretary, in the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Ms Sangita Gairola has been appointed as the Additional Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

She is an IAS of 1977 batch of the Rajasthan cadre and is presently in the cadre.

Mr Viswapati Trivedi has been appointed as the Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, in the Home Ministry. He is presently Joint Managing Director in the National Aviation Company of India Limited, Ministry of Civil aviation. He is an IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre of 1977 batch.
