PFC inks MoU with RITES to raise coal import

New Delhi, Mar 27: State-run Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) today said it has signed an MoU with RITES Ltd to facilitate import of coal from African countries to address the problem of power deficit in the country. "The company has signed an MoU with RITES Ltd today, whereby both the parties have agreed to combine their resources and expertise to the facilitate import of coal from African countries and elsewhere to address the problem of power deficit in India," company said in a statement.
