One killed, 34 injured in road accident

Barrackpore, Mar 27 (UNI) One person was killed and 34, including women and students, were injured in an accident on Chakdah road near Bongaon in North 24 Paraganas today.

Police said here that the accident occurred when a bus collided with a motorbike and fell into a gorge adding that a teenager, riding the bike, died on the spot.

The injured were rushed to Bongaon sub-divisional hospital UNI XC PP SS1506
