I am prepared to contest from Patiala, says Preneet Kaur

Patiala, Mar 27 (UNI) The member parliament form Patiala Preneet Kaur said here today that If Congress president Sonia Gandhi showed confidence in her again, she would ''not disappoint her'',.

She was prepared to contest from Patiala parliament constituency again and expected the voters to again repose faith in her, Preneet Kaur, a two-time winner from Patiala parliament constituency told mediapersons at New Moti Bagh Gun club at village Main, near here.

However, it was the prerogative of the party high command to field candidates, she stressed.

While asserting that she had done ''tremendous work in her entire constituency'' the wife of former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, welcomed its reorganisation saying it would be more convenient to look after approachable and smaller constituencies.

"Patiala itself was very big constituency as per geographical point of view, but I would miss the people of Sunam and Lehragagga which have been detached from Patiala constituency and welcome the people of Nabha, which was added as per new reorganisation,'' she said.
