Another hot Summer day as mercury rises to 35.2 Deg C
New Delhi, Mar 27 (UNI) It was another hot Summer day for Delhiites as the mecury, continuing its upwards movement, shot up to 35.2 Degree Celsius.
The scorching heat of the Sun forced Delhiites to remain indoors as the maximum temperature rose, from 34.6 Degree Celsius yesterday, to 35.2 Degree C, two degrees above normal.
The minimum also shot up, from 17.5 Degree C, to 20.8 Degree Celsius, four degrees above normal.
The rising trend in mercury is likely to persist over the next few days with the weathermen forecasting a rise in maximum temperature to 36 Degree C tomorrow. they have also forecast a minimum temperature of 20 Degree C tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
The mercury has witnessed a rising trend since the weekend with the maximum temperature rising from below 33 Degree C during the weekend to 35.2 Degree C today.
