ACP sets credit target for Karur, Perambalur for 2008-09

Karur, Mar 27: The Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for Karur district for 2008-09 sets a target of Rs 1,030.61 crore as priority sector advance, according to District Collector T N Venkatesh.

He said in a release here today that as per the ACP 2008-09, credit for the priority sector advance was put at Rs 1,030.61 crore.It included Rs 407.76 crore for agriculture, Rs 476.49 crore for industries and Rs 146.36 crore for other priority sectors, he added. A copy from Perambalur said the ACP envisaging a credit flow of Rs 235 crore for 2008-09 was released yesterday.

According to district Collector Anil Meshram the credit would include Rs 190.40 crore for agriculture, Rs 12.08 crore for industries and Rs 32.58 crore for other services.
