No need to be scared of Indo-US Nuke deal: Rahul
Mangalore, Mar 26 (UNI) AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today said, ''India need not be scared of Indo-US nuclear deal.'' Interacting with students of various colleges during his visit to Daxina Kannada district here, he said, ''in MY view India need not fear or be less confident in signing the deal.'' There was an urgent need for propagating a firm vision of 'Indianess and oneness' among the countrymen to make India number one in the world, he said.
''We have to think about the rest of the world as an opportunity and not a challenge,'' he added.
Referring to Uttar Pradesh, Mr Gandhi said though it was the biggest state in the country, it had taken a backseat in development.
To a query, he said, ''while access to politics is limited, progress in politics is random.'' UNI MA AJ GL RK1900
