Mulayam to inaugurate 'Social Justice Meet' in Kochi

Kochi, Mar 26: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav will inaugurate a 'Social Justice Meet', organised under the aegis of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), on March 31 here.

Talking to reporters here today, PDP Working Chairman Poonthura Siraj said that the main aim of the meet is to provide social justice to the oppressed sections of the society as per the initiative of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Maudhany.'' He said thousands of representatives from 24 organisations would participate in the event, which might open a new chapter in the Kerala politics.

SP leaders Amar Singh and Jayapradha, former Supreme Court Judge Justice V R Krishna Iyer and singer K J Yesudas would be among the scores of political, social and cultural leaders attending the meet, he added.
