Kalinga Ratna award for Rabi Ray
Bhubaneswar, May 26 (UNI) Eminent social reformer and former Lok Sabha Speaker Rabi Ray will receive the prestigious Kalinga Ratna award this year for dedicating his life to social cause.
Instituted by Sarala Sahitya Sansad, the award carries a silver statue of Goddess Sarala, a copper plaque and a citation.
Sarala Sahitya Sansad Secretary Pravakar Swain said Orissa Governor Murali Dhar Chandrakant Bhandare would present the award to Mr Ray at the 27th annual function of the Sansad at Cuttack on April 7.
