Election held to elect lone RS member from Manipur

Imphal, Mar 26 (UNI) Election to elect the lone Rajya Sabha member from Manipur was held at the Manipur Assembly Secretariat today.

So far 52 of the 60 members have voted, according to Assembly officials.

Mr Rishang Keishing of the Congress and Mr BD Behring of the Nationalist Peoples Party are in the fray.

The Congress commands 31 members and RJD with three and CPI with four are supporting it.
