Government to check spiraling steel prices

New Delhi, March 25th 2008: Alarmed over the 25% rise in steel prices during the last three months, the government has assured that it will go all out to contain the prices.

However, the steel industry has urged that regulating prices would in turn affect growth. The matter is a cause of concern for the government. And according to senior officials all possible measures will be considered to address the issue.
