Statewide IT raids of Kunverji Finstock premises

Ahmedabad, Mar 25 (UNI) Income Tax (IT) sleuths today conducted raids of premises of a leading stock broking firm Kunvarji Finstock Pvt ltd and its subsidiaries all over Gujarat.

The raids, which began this morning around 0930 hrs, were being carried out simultaneously at Kunvarji Finstock's subsidiaries in Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara and Bhuj.

The firm, promoted by Nayan Thakker, is a leading stock broking house in the country. it provides services in equities, derivatives, mutual funds, IPOs, depository services and E-broking.

The raids were part of a countrywide swoop on stock broking firms, IT sources said.
