Jyoti Structures bags order worth Rs 253 cr in Africa

New Delhi, Mar 25: Jyoti Structures Ltd today said it has been awarded Transmission Lines order worth Rs 253 crore in Africa.

The Supply and Erection of Bujagali Interconnection Project worth Rs 160 crore pertain to construction of 220KV and 132KV Transmission Lines and Substations from Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Ltd, said a statement. The project is to be executed in 24 months.

Another order worth Rs 93 crore has been secured by Jyoti Structures Africa (Pty) Ltd, a joint venture company of Jyoti Structures Ltd, for execution of 114Km of 765KV Single Circuit Transmission Line Construction from Majuba to Umfolozi by Eskom Enterprises (Pty) Ltd, the electricity utility of South Africa.

The contract is to be executed in 13 months.
